With the end of the Olympic cycle, after Brazil's participation in the Beijing Olympic Games, the Brazilian artistic gymnastics team was disbanded.

With this, Jade Barbosa, Daniele and Diego Hypólito will return to training daily at the Cláudio Coutinho gym, at the Gávea headquarters.

Diego will continue training with coach Renato Araújo, while Dani and Jade will be led by Ricardo Pereira and Viviane Cardoso.

"Even before going to Beijing, Daniele was already training here. We followed the entire process for about two and a half months."

The three gymnasts return to training next Monday (1/9), after a period of rest.

- “At first, they will be lighter training sessions, in a single shift, so as not to demand too much from them, since they are returning from the Olympics,” said coach Ricardo Pereira.

Jade Barbosa, Daniele Hypólito, and Diego Hypólito represented CRFlamengo in Beijing. Despite not winning any medals in their sport, the red-and-black gymnasts reached the finals of their events, achieving Brazil's best results in Olympic history.
