The Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation has already defined the list of athletes who will represent Brazil at the South American Games in Medellín, Colombia, from March 19 to 25, and at the World Cup in Doha, Qatar, from March 20 to 25. Meanwhile, the teams are in intense training.

The men's team, led by Renato Araújo (CRF) and Marcos Suzarte, held its first training session at the Gávea headquarters on Thursday morning. Training sessions are divided into two periods (morning - 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and afternoon - 14:30 p.m. to 16:30 p.m.) until the 18th. Next, the Brazilian team, made up of Diego Hypolito (CRF), Arthur Zanetti, Francisco Barreto, Mosiah Rodrigues, Sérgio Sasaki and Victor Rosa (CRF), will head to Medellín.

\

"Typically, team competitions take place in the second half of the year, and since we have this one now, there won't be much time to practice. Therefore, the ideal is to present routines they're already used to and try to avoid mistakes. Competing without falling is a big advantage. We'll have Colombia as a strong opponent, but we'll go full steam ahead in pursuit of the title, especially in the team competition," said Renato Araújo.

\

In addition to Diego and Victor, CRFlamengo will also have two representatives in the women's team, who will train in Blumenau, Santa Catarina. Ana Cláudia da Silva and Letícia Costa are also listed for the South American Championship. Daniele Hypolito, the sport's eternal Little Notable, will be responsible for achieving strong results at the Doha World Cup. The red-and-black team will be the sole women's representative.

\

The women's national team will train in Blumenau from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 16:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m. at the Regional Center for Artistic Gymnastics (SESI). Like the men's team, the gymnasts will remain in training until the 18th of this month. Viviane Cardoso, coach of the women's national team and of CRFlamengo, explains that the period in Blumenau will be one of observation and preparation.

\

- "In this first phase, we will conduct an individual assessment. It will be a time to analyze every detail and, at the same time, prepare the team for the South American Games and the World Cup. It will be important for them to be together to get a feel for the team atmosphere," concluded Viviane.
