Diego Hypolito is determined to regain his form after undergoing surgery on his left shoulder. The gymnast is scheduled to travel to Curitiba next Monday (September 7th), where he will compete in qualifying for the World Championships in London. On Tuesday, Hypolito will be in intense training with the other members of the Brazilian artistic gymnastics team, and his return to Rio is scheduled for the same day (September 8th).
The following week, the gymnast is already confirmed to travel to Spain to adapt to the floor exercise, which will be the same as the one used at the World Championships. After that, the red-and-black will spend some time "at home" until October, when he will travel again, this time for real.
Diego will compete for his third world floor championship (2005-2007). After the World Championships in London, England, Diego will focus on another stage of the World Cup in the sport. The gymnast could win his fourth Super Final title, a first for a Brazilian gymnast.
