After five months recovering from surgery on his left ankle, carried out in Switzerland, Diego Hypolito will do his first floor training session at Ginásio Claudio Coutinho, Gávea headquarters, this Friday (04.03), starting at 8 am.

Under the command of coach Renato Araújo, Diego returns to the stage determined to win a place in one of the stages of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in the 2011 season.

With the same drive and determination he displays in competitions, the two-time floor exercise world champion is confident of his return.

"Besides catching up, now is the time to focus on the competitions I have ahead of me. I feel ready and very happy to be back training. It's the Pan American Games year, and I intend to seek a spot in the London Olympics," said Hypolito.
