Diego Hypolito is determined to secure his first four-time World Gymnastics Super Final title. The CRF gymnast's challenge begins this Friday in the qualifying rounds for the Osijek, Croatia, event. The top eight finishers will advance to the final on Saturday (November 7).

- If I win first place in this country, I would become the first athlete in the world to achieve this unprecedented feat of four Super Final titles - said Diego, who will not perform any "Hypolito" movements in the qualifying round, and his starting score on the floor will be 8220.

Diego, the world leader in floor exercise in the FIG (International Gymnastics Federation) rankings with 154 points, will face Croatian Tomislav Markovic, second with 111 points, as his main rival. Third in the rankings is Israel's Alex Shatilov, with 92 points, who is also competing for the title.

"The elimination in the World Championship qualifying round is still fresh in my memory. It was the first time in my entire career (from junior to adult) that I didn't reach the final on an apparatus. But, since the beginning of the season, I've been saying that my main goal this year was the Super Final. It's time to put aside my nerves and fight for this achievement," commented Diego.

If things don't go as expected, Diego will still have one more opportunity in the last stage of the year, which will take place between November 13th and 15th, in Stuttgart, Germany.
