Jade Barbosa's star has shone brightly once again. The CRFlamengo gymnast passed the evaluation conducted by the CBG (Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation) technical committee and is back on the Brazilian national team. Jade earned the final spot in the select group that will represent Brazil at the World Championships in London in October.

After analyzing the results of the evaluations, athlete Jade Barbosa was announced, on Saturday, as the new member of the permanent Brazilian artistic gymnastics team.

From now on, the red-and-black will be under constant supervision from the CBG technical committee to determine the competitions Jade will compete in. "We will monitor how the gymnast develops in her daily training and decide which competitions she will compete in," said Geogertte Vidor, coordinator of the women's artistic gymnastics team.

The team already has its next trip scheduled for September 22, when it will go to Italy to carry out one of the preparation stages for the World Championship.
