The Men's State Artistic Gymnastics Championship was painted red and black last Sunday (15). Dominating all the apparatus in the Youth category, Flamengo was also individual champion in the Adult category. Led by professor Roberto Nassar, the gymnasts placed Mengo on the highest place on the podium.
The Youth category was completely dominated by Mais Querido. In the team standings, Flamengo scored 200,600 points and took first place overall. Additionally, in the individual standings, the top five finishers were Flamengo. Josué Soares Heliodoro took the top spot on the podium, followed by Guilherme Henrique M. de Paula, Roger Luiz Azarias Gomes, Iago Retamiro Cruz, and Cauã da Rocha Siqueira.
In the Adult category, Marcus Paulo Oliveira scored 75,700 and took first place in the individual all-around. Team and apparatus results have not been released.

The Flamengo Regatas Club's artistic gymnastics teams receive funding from their sponsors—AmBev, Rede D'or, IRB Brasil RE, CSN, Brasil Plural, and EY—via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), as well as support from the Brazilian Club Committee (CBC) through the decentralization of resources from the Pelé Law. The Flamengo Guardian Angel Project, a personal tax transfer, benefits all Olympic sports of the Most Beloved Club.
