Flamengo's women's artistic gymnastics team once again demonstrated its strength. Our girls put on a true show in Lauro Freitas, Bahia, where the Brazilian Gymnastics Championships were held. 

In the team competition, Flamengo was the team that earned the most points over the two days of competition. The gold medal came thanks to the excellent performance of the team comprised of Rebeca Andrade, Flavia Saraiva, Lorrane Oliveira, Luísa Maia, Helen Vitoria, and Larissa Oliveira, who totaled 331.500 points over the two days of competition. The silver medal went to Cegin and the bronze to Pinheiros. 

In the apparatus competition, our Olympic medalist put on a show and became the champion in the individual all-around. Rebeca Andrade scored 114.834 points in the two days she competed (56.734 and 58.100). Right behind her was Flavia Saraiva, with 110.566 points (54.900 + 55.666), securing the silver medal in the individual all-around. 

In addition to the individual all-around, Rebeca came in first place on the uneven bars (29.567 points) and on the balance beam (28.300).

Flavinha was champion on the floor, with a total of 28.033, and took bronze on the beam, with 27.467, and on the uneven bars, with 27.000. 

"I was very impressed by the popularity and charisma of these girls. It was already dawn, and they attended to each one with the utmost care and patience. In addition to the spectacle they put on during the competition, they were incredibly friendly. Flamengo, once again, demonstrated its strength. We want the club to always be at the top of the podium," said Vice President of Olympic Sports Guilherme Kroll. 

Men's performance

Our young promise, Diogo Soares secured the silver medal in the individual all-around with 166.050 (83.350 + 82.700). He also won silver on pommel horse (13.500 + 13.500) and bronze on rings (13.550 + 13.450), parallel bars (13.740 + 14.050) and horizontal bar (14.250 + 13.900).
