The red-and-black gymnastics team once again demonstrates its strength. This weekend, the Brazilian Adult and Children's Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held at the Claudio Coutinho gymnasium in Gávea. Mengão won everything in both categories.

In the adult individual all-around, Isabel Aguilar reached the top of the podium followed by Hellen Vitória and Julia Coutinho, all from Flamengo.

In the apparatus competition, Isabel Aguilar placed first on the balance beam and uneven bars. Julia Coutinho took gold on the floor, and Larissa Machado took first place on the vault.  

In the children's category, the best athlete in the individual all-around was Ana Paula Delgado.

Olympic medalists Rebeca Andrade, Flavia Saraiva, Jade Barbosa and Lorrane Oliveira will compete again for Flamengo this month in the Brazilian Championship in the category, which will be held between the 15th and 22nd, in João Pessoa, Paraíba.
