The Most Beloved begins, this Wednesday (2), the fight for more titles in artistic gymnastics. With the presence of Jade Barbosa, Flávia Saraiva and Rebeca Andrade, Flamengo will compete in the Brazilian Championship of the modality and will continue fighting for medals. The competition, held at Pinheiros, in São Paulo, has free entry for the public and will continue until Sunday.
Besides securing good results for Flamengo, the red-and-black gymnasts also pursue another important goal. Serving as a qualifier for the World Championships in Montreal, Canada, to be held in October, the Brazilian Championship has gained even more importance for those aspiring to serve on the national team.
This year's competition will feature two categories: team and all-around. Flamengo will be going full force, with over 20 athletes competing.

The Flamengo Regatas Club's artistic gymnastics teams receive funding from their sponsors—AmBev, Rede D'or, IRB Brasil RE, CSN, Brasil Plural, and EY—via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), as well as support from the Brazilian Club Committee (CBC) through the decentralization of resources from the Pelé Law. The Flamengo Guardian Angel Project, a personal tax transfer, benefits all Olympic sports of the Most Beloved Club.
