The boys and girls from Flamengo's children's artistic gymnastics teams traveled this week to Belém do Pará, in the north of the country, where they will compete in the Brazilian Championship in the category starting this Wednesday (12.10). Flamengo, which is a reference in the sport and had four of its adult gymnasts representing Brazil at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, will participate with 16 athletes, nine in the men's category and seven in the women's.
The championship, which takes place annually, runs until October 16th and will feature more than 20 teams from across the country.

The gymnastics teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have support from the Brazilian Club Confederation (CBC) from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law and with resources from its sponsor – MRS Logística – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sport (IR).
