Flamengo has four athletes called up to compete in the Pan-American Artistic Gymnastics Championships
Jade Barbosa, Flávia Saraiva, Rebeca Andrade and Lorrane Dos Santos represent the Most Beloved in the competition
By Romulo Paranhos - inFlamengo is well represented at the Pan American Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which will take place from September 10th to 16th in Lima, Peru. Flamengo gymnasts Jade Barbosa, Flávia Saraiva, Rebeca Andrade, and Lorrane Dos Santos have been selected to join the Brazilian national team.

The tournament will serve as a qualifier for the 2019 Pan American Games, which will also be held in the Peruvian capital. The eight highest-placed teams in the qualifying round will qualify for the Games.
At the Brazilian Specialist Championship, held last month, the red-and-black team won ten medals: three gold, two silver, and five bronze. Athletes Jade Barbosa and Flávia Saraiva shone, placing the "Mais Querido" team at the top of the podium on the parallel bars and balance beam, respectively. Jade also won silver on the balance beam and the individual all-around title at the Brazilian Championship, while Flavinha took the individual gold medal. Rounding out the team championships, the team team champions were the team champions with the help of Lorrane. Rebeca Andrade, currently recovering from knee surgery, did not participate in the competition.
After the championship in Lima, our gymnasts return to training to prepare for the World Championships in their category, which will be held between October 25 and November 3 in Doha, Qatar.
