Flávia and Rebeca win gold and silver at the Portugal stage of the World Cup
Rubro-Negro gymnasts competed in the balance beam and floor events and shared the podium in both

The two red-and-black gymnasts who represented the Brazilian National Team in the Portugal stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup came in first and second place in the finals held this Sunday (26). Performing on the balance beam and floor at the Anadia High Performance Center, Flávia Saraiva and Rebeca Andrade won four of the five medals won by Brazilian athletes in the competition.
Flávia won both events, scoring 15,125 on beam and 14,350 on floor. Rebeca shared the podium with her teammate and national team, taking silver in both events, scoring 14,125 on beam and 14,100 on floor. Both Flamengo players improved their scores compared to the competition's qualifying rounds.
After the World Cup, Flávia and Rebeca remain in Portugal for training and four more red-blacks, Daniele Hypolito, Jade Barbosa, Julie Kim Sinmon and Milena Theodoro, join the athletes' training.
The gymnastics teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have support from the Brazilian Club Confederation (CBC) from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law and with resources from its sponsor – MRS Logística – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sport (IR).
