Red-and-black gymnasts will represent Brazil in Anadia, Portugal

Brazil will once again feature red-and-black athletes for the next stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Anadia, Portugal. Flávia Saraiva and Rebeca Andrade will once again wear the Brazilian colors to represent the country in the international competition. The event, which serves to help gymnasts prepare for a possible call-up to the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games, will take place from June 19th to 28th.
Flamengo gymnasts have been a constant presence in the Brazilian national team's squad. At the last World Cup in São Paulo, Rebeca won two medals: a silver in the uneven bars and a bronze on the balance beam. In the last two World Cups in Europe, for example, Flamengo's Julie Kim and Thauany Araújo represented Brazil in the competition. Jade Barbosa had also been called up for the competition in Portugal but was rested for a friendly match against the Netherlands in Beekbergen, between July 6th and 10th.

Women's Solo Finals
The gymnastics teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have support from the Brazilian Club Confederation (CBC) from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law and with resources from its sponsor – MRS Logística – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sport (IR).
