Flávia Saraiva wins two silver medals and one bronze medal at the Pan American Artistic Gymnastics Championships
With four red-blacks, the Brazilian team still took second place in the team rankings
By Communication - Flamengo - inWith four red-and-blacks in the group, the Brazilian team won four medals at the Pan American Artistic Gymnastics Championships this weekend (15th and 16th). In Lima, Peru, Flávia Saraiva, Jade Barbosa, Lorrane Dos Santos, and Rebeca Andrade helped Brazil finish second in the team competition. Flavinha also secured two silver medals and a bronze medal.
The Mais Querido athlete came in second place on the beam podium, with 14.033 points, and on the floor, with 13.867. With a total score of 53.334, Flávia also won the individual all-around bronze medal.
The Brazilian team also managed, on the first day of competitions, to qualify for the 2019 Pan American Games, which will be held between 26 July and August 19 in the Peruvian capital. The country secured its spot by qualifying for the finals in second place, with 161.134 points.
The red-blacks' next commitment in the National Team is the Artistic Gymnastics World Championship, between October 25th and November 3rd, in Doha, Qatar.
