Flavia Saraiva and Lorrane Oliveira help Brazil win bronze in the team competition
Rubro-Negras will also compete in the individual finals at the Pan American Games in Lima

With performances by Flavia Saraiva and Lorrane Oliveira, the national team secured bronze in the team debut at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. Also from Mais Querido, Jade Barbosa was spared from the competition in favor of the Stuttgart World Championships in October, the most important tournament of the year, which guarantees a spot at the Tokyo Olympics.
Brazil scored 158,550 points in total to reach the podium. Flavia Saraiva scored 13,800 on floor exercise, finishing third on the apparatus. On uneven exercise, Lorrane Oliveira achieved the fourth-highest score of the night with 14,000.
"I think we did really well today, we gave it our all. We made a few mistakes, which happens. The delay in getting the score from the beam hurt us a bit, but we did everything we had to do," said Lorrane.
In addition to the team bronze, Flavia and Lorrane secured their place in four individual finals. Lorrane will compete for medals on the uneven bars, next Tuesday (30), at 17:10 pm, while Flavinha will compete on the balance beam (Wednesday, at 15:00 pm), floor exercise (Wednesday, at 16:20 pm) and the individual all-around, which takes place this Monday (29), at 15:XNUMX pm.
