Flavia Saraiva placed 4th on floor exercise and 6th on beam at the Stuttgart World Championships

By Helena Petry - inFlavia Saraiva ended her participation in the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships this Sunday (13). In Stuttgart, Germany, the red-black competed in the individual finals for apparatus and finished in fourth place on the floor and sixth on the beam.
On the floor, Flavinha was one tenth away from the bronze medal with 13,966 points, while her score on the beam was 13,400.
"I gave it my all, and competition is competition. We fight until the end and see if it worked or not. Now it's time to go home and work on every extra tenth," said the red-and-black.
Last Thursday (10), Flavia Saraiva had achieved seventh place in the individual all-around final, the country's best in the championship in the last twelve years. By qualifying for the final in 10th place, she was the first Brazilian to secure a place at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
