Nilson Medeiros, Jessica's coach, is Brazilian and has a good relationship with the country's professionals. He was previously an assistant coach for the Brazilian gymnastics team and is based in the United States, where he coaches the Venezuelan athlete. Jessica is also a big name in the sport, having participated in several Olympics with her country's delegation.
