Fla gymnasts champions in the Youth and Senior WOGA Classic

Letícia Costa and Rebeca Andrade win the individual all-around gold medal at the WOGA Classic International; the red-and-blacks also take silver in the team all-around.

Flamengo athletes won five gold medals at the WOGA Classic International, a competition held in Dallas, United States, last weekend (February 07-09.02). Isabelle Cruz, Julie Sinmon and Letícia Costa, in the Adult category, and Milena Theodoro and Rebeca Andrade, in the Youth category, traveled with the Brazilian National Team and brought home, in total, nine medals.

Rebeca and Letícia completed the red-and-black double, winning the individual all-around championships in their respective categories, Junior and Senior, respectively. In the Junior apparatus competition, Rebeca took home two gold medals, on vault and bars, and two silver medals, on beam and floor. Letícia, meanwhile, won the gold medal on floor and the bronze on vault. The champions once again reached the podium with their teammates, Julie, Isabelle, and Milena, to receive the team silver medal. 

The WOGA Classic International Artistic Gymnastics Championship brought together athletes from Brazil, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Japan, Mexico, China, Russia, Ukraine, Belgium and Australia.
