The South American Adult Artistic Gymnastics Championship begins this Wednesday (December 04.12th) in Santiago, Chile. The competition will take place from December 04th to 08th. Two Flamengo athletes traveled with the Brazilian delegation: Isabelle Cruz and Letícia Costa. They will also be accompanied by Flamengo's coach, Ricardo Pereira.

 

"They (Isabelle and Letícia) have a chance at a medal in the team competition. The girls are training very well. At the Gymnasiade, the School Games, Flamengo athletes have already won medals; the sport is well represented," said Daniela Antunes, one of the club's gymnastics coaches.

The South American Championship will be a selection process for the South American Games, also in Chile, which will take place in 2014.
