Qualified this month for the Olympic Games, the red-black Rebeca Andrade confirmed her good form and won the gold medal on the uneven bars in the artistic gymnastics World Cup stage, which is being held in Doha, Qatar.
With a difficulty of 6.1 and a very good execution of 8.4, Rebeca achieved a score of 14.500, almost two tenths higher than her qualifying performance.
And it didn't stop there. Lorrane Oliveira, also from Flamengo, joined Rebeca on the podium. With great consistency and confidence, the gymnast scored 13.400 and won bronze. Silver went to Ukrainian Anastasiia Bachynska (13.433).
Flávia Saraiva did not perform this Friday (25). She and Rebeca Andrade are in the balance beam final, which takes place this Saturday. They obtained the second and third best scores, respectively, in the qualifying round. Lorrane will also perform in the floor final.
The artistic gymnastics teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsors – AmBev, Rede D'or, IRB Brasil RE, CSN, Brasil Plural, EY – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), in addition to support from the Brazilian Committee of Clubs (CBC) resulting from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law.
