Flamengo continues to make its presence felt on the international artistic gymnastics scene. This time, the club will be the star Brazilian star at the traditional Gymnastic Tournament Jesolo, taking place April 12th and 13th in Italy. The event is one of the most important on the world calendar and brings together some of the sport's leading powers.

The Flamengo athletes selected will represent Brazil against tough opponents. Gabriela Bouças, Hellen Silva, Júlia Coutinho, and Maria Eduarda Montesino will represent the country on the adult team. Érika Oliveira, Isabel Aguilar, Julie Costa, Nicole Bello, and Sophia Cruz were selected for the youth team. Flamengo, once again, demonstrates its strength in developing talent, accounting for the majority of the national delegation.

Head coach Georgette Vidor highlighted the tournament's high technical level:

"The event brings together Olympic medalists from the United States and Italy, as well as promising talent from Romania. We're not at that level yet, but Brazil needs to be present. This investment is essential for Flamengo, the Confederation, and the Olympic Committee."

Coach Walmy Junior also reinforced the importance of participation:

"Of the six athletes selected for each category, five youth and four adults are from Flamengo. This is the first competition of the new Olympic cycle, heading to Los Angeles. Despite being a friendly tournament, it brings together very strong countries, such as the USA, Italy, France, and Canada. It's a unique opportunity for our gymnasts to gain international experience. We're going with a full team, with three coaches—myself, Angelo, and Renata—to provide all the necessary support."

Preparation has been intense, with training focused on technical improvement and experience in high-level events. In addition to the pursuit of good results, the Jesolo Tournament is an international showcase and an essential step toward establishing the red-and-black gymnastics team on the global stage.
