Flamengo gymnasts test equipment at the official Olympic gymnasium
Equipment will be used by 196 athletes at Rio 2016
By John Pedro Ribeiro* - inOn Tuesday (19), the athletes from the red-black gymnastics team, Beatriz Simão dos Santos, Karoline Carneiro da Silva Dias, Maria Julia Ferreira Marques, Natália do Nascimento Moraes de Jesus, Pedro Henrique Barbosa, Josué Soares Heliodoro and Iago Retamiro Cruz, together with their coaches, Rhayane Pereira and Roberto Nassar, tested the equipment that will be used by the 196 Olympic gymnasts of more than 50 nationalities in the Rio 2016 training gym.
The gymnastics teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have support from the Brazilian Club Confederation (CBC) from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law and with resources from its sponsor – MRS Logística – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sport (IR).
