The Mais Querido artistic gymnastics team is preparing for its biggest challenge of the season. Next month, the red-and-black athletes will compete in the Brazilian Artistic Gymnastics Championship, which will be held from August 3rd to 6th at the Pinheiros Sports Center in São Paulo.

Ângelo Sabino, Mengão's coach, spoke about the preparations for the competition.

"We're very excited for the Brazilian Championships; it's the most important competition of the year. We started in January thinking about this moment and we're eager for it to arrive soon. The gymnasts are well prepared, and we want to show our best performance at the championship," the coach emphasized.

Leading an intense training routine, the coach finished by evaluating the gymnasts' condition.

"They are training very well, we did an assessment last Saturday (22.07) and we had a very encouraging result for the eve of such an important competition. All the athletes are performing very well", said Ângelo.

The competition will feature individual and team competitions, and the Mais Querido gymnasts are continuing their training at the Cláudio Coutinho gymnasium.
