On the second day of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup finals, held this Sunday in São João Madeira, Porto, Portugal, the Hypolito brothers shone again. After winning three medals last Saturday (two with Daniele, gold on vault and bronze on parallel bars, and one with Diego, silver on floor), the Brazilian gymnasts reached the podium once again. Daniele tied for first place on floor exercise, along with Venezuela's Jessica Lopez, with 13,575 points. Diego, meanwhile, won silver on vault with a score of 16,162 points. Romanian Flavius Koczi took gold with 16,175 points.
\"I leave this competition with a sense of accomplishment. These three medals were hard-earned, and my goal is to be well prepared for the World Championships in October in Rotterdam, the Netherlands," said Daniele, who placed sixth on the balance beam.
\The Hypolito brothers return to Brazil this Monday, bringing with them a total of five medals: three won by Daniele and two by Diego.
