This morning, the athlete shone again on the balance beam and floor, where she scored 13.600 and 13.200, securing her place on the podium. Having been with the club since she was 5 years old, the red-and-black athlete commented on the achievement after so many appearances in the Brazilian Championships. 

"I've been competing for the club for 21 years, and winning another title is priceless. I'm so happy that, after so many years, I still feel the thrill of being here," said Jade. 

Land sports manager for Mais Querido and head of the red-black delegation, Luisa Parente praised the athlete's achievement. 

"Last year, if we compare it to the Brazilian Championships, she was barely able to compete on the apparatus due to injuries. She's been recovering well, so much so that she now competed brilliantly in all four events and achieved a good average, a good individual score that secured Flamengo's runner-up position," said Luisa. 

The former gymnast also added, emphasizing the importance of the Rubro-Negro's athlete training policy.

"We can't forget our role as a club, which is to continually develop athletes. We are this industry; we receive raw material from young children to mold great champions like her." 

Returning from a foot injury, Lorrane Dos Santos competed only on the parallel bars and missed the individual all-around competition. Even so, she placed highest on the apparatus in the competition, with a score of 13.900. Flávia Saraiva also placed highest on the floor exercise, with a flawless performance that earned her a score of 14.000 and wowed the crowd in the gymnasium. The red-and-black athlete also excelled on the vault and beam, but due to a fall on the uneven bars, she ended up outside the podium.

The athletes return to action this Sunday (24), this time in the team competition. There will be three gymnasts per apparatus in search of the title for Flamengo. The competition starts at 8:30 am with a live broadcast on the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation's Facebook page.
