Jade Barbosa won a bronze medal in Moscow

The red-and-black gymnast came in third place on the vault at the World Cup stage in Russia

Jade Barbosa won the bronze medal this Saturday morning (May 14.05) at the Moscow stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup. In her first competition of the season, the Brazilian, with 13.337 points, finished third in the vault. The gold medal went to Germany's Oksana Chusovitina (14.712 points) and the silver to Russia's Ekaterina Kurbatova (13.950).

On Friday, Jade had achieved the second best performance, qualifying for the grand final that brought together the four best competitors.

From Moscow, Jade and coach Ricardo Pereira return to Brazil. The athlete is expected to arrive in Rio on Monday (16.05), one day before the Brazilian team returns from the training camp held in Stuttgart, Germany.
