Once again, the red-and-black gymnasts shone, defending Brazil's colors. In Switzerland for two festive competitions, Jade Barbosa and Flavia Saraiva won medals for the country last week.

At the Arturo Gander Memorial in Chiasso, Jade topped the podium with 41,400 points. Flavia came in second with 40,650. Jade Barbosa took first place on the uneven bars with a score of 13,550. Flavia won the balance beam event with a score of 12,350. On the floor exercise, also valid for the Chiasso City Trophy, Flavia took first place (13,950) and Jade second (13,600). On the vault, Flavinha took second place (14,350) and Jade third (14,250). 

With the Arturo Gander Memorial competitions over, the red-and-blacks moved on to the Swiss Cup in Zurich, a traditional tournament with just one man and one woman from each country competing as a pair. Flavia Saraiva represented Brazil alongside Artur Nory, while Jade Barbosa represented the Pan American Team alongside Canadian Cory Paterson.

In the qualifying round, Jade and Paterson placed third with a score of 80,500, advancing to the final, as did Flavia and Nory, who finished sixth with 77,725 points. In the final, the gymnasts repeated their placements, and Jade Barbosa secured bronze with a total of 28,075.

Now, the Brazilians join Lorrane Dos Santos and Rebeca Andrade in the Specialist World Cup. The four red-and-blacks make up the Brazilian team in the competition, which takes place in Cottbus, Germany, from November 20th to 26th.
