The red-and-black Jade Barbosa and Maria Cecília traveled to the United States to compete in their first match of 2016 at the Houston National Invitational. This Friday (5), starting at 22 pm (Brasília time), the gymnasts will compete in the team events. On Saturday (6) will be the individual all-around and apparatus finals, starting at 21:30 pm.

 

This will be Jade Barbosa's first competition after renewing her contract with Mais Querido. Her contract runs until the end of this year. The gymnast also has another competition scheduled in Jesolo, Italy. The artistic gymnastics test event will be held at the Rio Olympic Arena in Barra da Tijuca, from April 16th to 20th.
