The red-and-black gymnasts Julie Kim and Letícia Costa are preparing for the X South American Games, which begin this Friday (07.03), in Santiago, Chile. The continental competition brings together 42 sports, with athletes from the Adult category who are expected to appear on the podiums at the next Olympics, in Rio, in 2016.

Before heading to Chile, the gymnasts, along with the Brazilian delegation, will attend another training camp to prepare for the competition, accompanied by the national team's coaches, referees and the team leader.

The artistic gymnastics competition, for men and women, will be held at the National Sports Stadium Gymnasium in Santiago, from March 09 to 11. The events will be: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise, parallel bars, pommel bar, and vault.
