Brazilian artistic gymnastics concluded its participation in the Pan American Games in Canada with a positive result, with athletes and a coach from Brazil. With Jade as a reserve, Juli Kim and Letícia Costa competing, and Keli Kitaura on the coaching staff, the women's team took bronze in the overall team ranking. On Wednesday (July 15.07), Brazil concluded its participation with Julie competing in the balance beam final. The gymnast placed fourth.
"I'm happy with the final (on apparatus; balance beam). Of course I made some mistakes, but now I have to train even more for the next competitions," explained Julie.
For the delegation, besides the medals, the most important thing is preparing for the World Cup, which will be held in Scotland in October and will qualify for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. A good performance in Glasgow is everyone's main goal for this year.
