Brazilian gymnasts Letícia Costa and Maria Cecília, along with coach Ricardo Pereira, were part of the Brazilian delegation that competed in the 3rd International Artistic Gymnastics Meeting at Arena Santos, on the coast of São Paulo. The event served as an evaluation and integration event for Olympic athletes, with finals taking place last weekend, on the 19th and 20th.

On Saturday (April 19), Letícia Costa won silver in the individual all-around and gold in the team event. On Sunday (April 19.04), the gymnast took home two more silver medals, this time on the floor and vault. On this day, Letícia turned 20.04 years old. In addition to the birthday girl, Maria Cecília Cruz also made it to the podium, winning bronze on the uneven bars.
