Letícia Costa wins gold and silver at the South American Championships
The red-and-black gymnast reaches the top of the podium in the team rankings and second in the individual rankings; the athlete competes in the apparatus finals tonight.

The red-and-black representative on the Brazilian National Team competing in the South American Adult Artistic Gymnastics Championships won two medals last Saturday. Letícia Costa won gold in the team event and silver in the individual event at the Coliseo Del Pueblo in Cali, Colombia.
As a team, Letícia Costa took the top spot on the podium with 161,400 points; the Brazilian team was followed by gymnasts from Argentina and Colombia, tied with 155,600. Letícia also won silver in the Individual All-Around, with 53,399.
"We are happy with these achievements and we know where we have to work harder to continue evolving," commented Flamengo and Brazilian National Team coach Ricardo Pereira.
This Sunday (June 21.06), from 18 p.m. to 21 p.m. (Brasília time), the apparatus finals will be held, with Brazil in all the finals. The red-and-black representative in the competition, Letícia, will compete on vault, balance beam and floor exercise.
