Three Flamengo gymnasts shone this Thursday (24) in the World Cup stage of the sport, which is being held in Doha, Qatar.

The standout performer on the apparatus of the red-and-black team's participation was Lorrane Oliveira, who flawlessly executed a double pike twist with a half turn. This is an evolution of the first of the two elements registered by Daiane dos Santos, the Dos Santos I, and will likely be included in the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) code of points like Oliveira.

With her performance, Lorrane qualified for the floor final, with a score of 12.700.

Flamengo's other two gymnasts are also in the balance beam final. Rebeca Andrade (13.166) and Flavia Saraiva (13.091) achieved the second and third highest scores, respectively. Hungarian Zsofia Kovacs was the best in the qualifying round, with 13.233.
