Lorrane dos Santos Oliveira's life began to intertwine with artistic gymnastics when she was just seven years old. A fan of the sport's greats, she ventured into circus classes until, two years later, she joined Flamengo.
A standout in the sport and one of the most promising athletes of the new generation, Lorrane returned to the Mais Querido after four years to continue her red-and-black history. Alongside names like Jade Barbosa, Flávia Saraiva, and Rebeca Andrade, already known for the Brazilian National Team, the 19-year-old gymnast is already training hard for her upcoming matches.
Lorrane has already participated in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, as well as a bronze medal at the Pan American Games in Toronto in 2015 and a gold medal in 2014. The athlete is also part of a new generation of artistic gymnastics athletes who are already preparing for the next Olympic cycle in Tokyo 2020.

The Flamengo Regatas Club's artistic gymnastics teams receive funding from their sponsors—AmBev, Rede D'or, IRB Brasil RE, CSN, Brasil Plural, and EY—via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), as well as support from the Brazilian Club Committee (CBC) through the decentralization of resources from the Pelé Law. The Flamengo Guardian Angel Project, a personal tax transfer, benefits all Olympic sports of the Most Beloved Club.
