Open morning training session for artistic gymnastics at the Cláudio Coutinho Gymnasium

Red-and-black athletes, medalists at the Pan American Games in Lima, return to their training routine.

Today was open training day at the Cláudio Coutinho Gymnasium. Jade Barbosa, Flavia Saraiva, and Lorrane Oliveira arrived yesterday from the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, and have already joined their Flamengo teammates in their efforts for the upcoming challenges. The three won the bronze medal for Brazil in the team competition. Flavia also won two other bronze medals, in the individual all-around and floor exercise. Their preparations now focus on the Brazilian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in mid-August and the World Championships in October. 

The morning training session had a relaxed atmosphere, with the athletes reuniting with the red-and-black coaching staff. Under the watchful eye of the girls from the academy and the youth athletes, the team performed warm-ups, stretching, and flexibility exercises before performing exercises on the floor, uneven bars, and pull-up bar.
