Maria Cecília and Jade return with medals from Houston
Rubro-Negro gymnasts represented the club in the Brazilian National Team

Rubro-Negro gymnasts Jade Barbosa and Maria Cecília traveled to the United States to compete in their first match of 2016 for the Brazilian national team at the Houston National Invitational. The gymnasts returned with silver and bronze medals for Team Brazil.
Cecília finished third on the balance beam, second on the team, and fifth in the individual all-around rankings. Experienced Jade won a silver medal on the parallel bars in her first competition after renewing her contract with Mais Querido.
The Brazilian national team has another competition coming up on its calendar, in Jesolo, Italy. The artistic gymnastics test event will be held at the Rio Olympic Arena in Barra da Tijuca from April 16 to 20.
The artistic gymnastics teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo rely on resources from their sponsor – MRS Logística – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sport (IR).
