Girls go to the team final and Rebeca and Flávia stand out in the individual final

It was amidst much affection and enthusiasm from the Brazilian fans that the Brazilian artistic gymnastics team - which includes the four red-and-blacks Daniele Hypolito, Jade Barbosa, Rebeca Andrade and Flávia Saraiva - qualified for the team final in the qualifiers last Sunday (7), with 174,054 points, in fifth place.

Rebeca is still in the running for the individual all-around (58,732 points), after finishing fourth in the qualifying round, alongside Flávia Saraiva (56,532), in 19th. The youngest, Flavinha, 16, is also a finalist on the balance beam (15,133), in third place.

This Tuesday (9) will be the team final. On Thursday, Rebeca and Flavinha compete in the individual all-around. On Monday, Flavinha competes in the balance beam final. Watch:
