Rotterdam World Cup starts this Saturday
Flamengo will be represented by the maximum strength of the red-black woman
By Media Relations - inDaniele Hypolito, Jade Barbosa, Gabriela Soares and coach Viviane Cardoso are Flamengo's representatives at the Rotterdam World Cup, which starts this Saturday (16.10), in the Netherlands.
\The competitive atmosphere began on the 12th with podium training. According to the red-and-black coach, this is a crucial moment as it serves as a dress rehearsal for the competition.
\"This training is always positive. It's a simulation of the competition where we can observe the entire team in action and see the girls' performance in detail," said the Flamengo coach, who leads the women's team with Iryna Ilyashenko.
\Daniele Hypolito, the most experienced of the group of seven gymnasts, is confident about the results Brazil can achieve.
\"We've been training very well since the acclimatization we did in Madrid and since we arrived here. You can be sure that we will qualify among the 24 teams, as that is our main concern. We want to guarantee Brazil a place in next year's World Cup, which will be the Pre-Olympic tournament," said Daniele Hypolito.
\In the men's squad, Flamengo's only representative on the Brazilian national team is coach Renato Araújo. Diego Hypolito, who recently underwent left ankle surgery, and Victor Rosa, who is still recovering from a shoulder injury, are the main absences for the men's team.
