Regarding the current situation of artistic gymnastics at Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, this Vice Presidency makes the following comments:

1. In January of this year, the City of Niterói announced its willingness to sponsor Flamengo's artistic gymnastics team through the Nomes Project, which develops social sports activities in that municipality.

2. In an effort to make this partnership viable, this Vice Presidency participated in several meetings at the Attorney General's Office of the Municipality of Niterói in order to find the best model for this sponsorship to absorb the costs of artistic gymnastics of around R$80.000,00 per month.

3. Due to the legal requirement contained in the Nomes Project, the viability of the contribution for sponsoring the artistic gymnastics team could only be made through the creation of an athletes' institute, as is already the case with other social projects in the Municipality of Niterói, such as the Canhotinha de Ouro Institute, Fernanda Keller Institute and Grael Institute.

4. In order to facilitate the creation of this Institute, this Vice Presidency appointed a professional specialized in the area who has, since then, provided full assistance to Flamengo's artistic gymnastics team.

5. Despite all the problems described above, Flamengo has made the Cláudio Coutinho Gymnasium available to the team, where they have state-of-the-art artistic gymnastics equipment, so that they can continue training and maintain the excellence of their performances.

6. Clube de Regatas do Flamengo has been honoring the payment of travel, accommodation and fees costs for the participation of artistic gymnastics athletes in their respective competitions.

7. Artistic gymnastics athletes have a federative link with Flamengo, and their coaches continue to be part of the Club's staff.

8. Clube de Regatas do Flamengo continues to provide housing free of charge to athletes Danielle and Diego Hypólito and their family, as well as the coach of the women's artistic gymnastics team, in apartments in the Hilton Santos Building, in the Flamengo neighborhood.

9. The Vice Presidency of Olympic Sports continues to make efforts to attract sponsorships for Flamengo's artistic gymnastics, having even received a visit yesterday afternoon (Tuesday – 16/06) from a potential investor who works in the health sector.
