Among the attractions presented during the Flamengo and Brasília halftime show yesterday morning, the public that attended the HSBC Arena had the chance to meet the new signings of Flamengo's women's artistic gymnastics: Khiuani Dias, Ana Claudia Silva, both 17 years old and Janaína Silva, 15 years old members of the Brazilian team.

Hired in January, the girls become part of the red-black women's team that already has names like Daniele Hypolito, Jade Barbosa and Letícia Costa.

In the final of the South American Championships, held in Sogamoso, Colombia, Khiuani Dias and Ana Claudia Silva helped Brazil. Ana Claudia won a silver medal, while Khiuani earned a bronze. The duo debuted for the Brazilian national team during the 2007 Rio Pan American Games.

Born on March 28, 1992, in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Ana Claudia won the silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and finished ninth in the all-around. That same year, at the World Championships in Germany, she helped the Brazilian team finish fifth—the best performance of the Brazilian team in a World Championship.

A few days older (20/03/1992), Khiuani Luana Dias from Paraná also participated in the Brazilian campaign in Rio-2007 and in the World Cup in Germany.
