After participating in the inauguration of the new Brazilian Gymnastics Training Center this Friday (16.01), Flamengo received its first official call-up. The Most Beloved will be represented by eight athletes in a training camp to be held in the new space from January 20 to 28. Isabelle Cruz, Jade Barbosa, Julie Kim Sinmon, Letícia Costa, Maria Cecília Cruz, Milena Theodoro, Rebeca Andrade and Thauany Araújo will be the red-blacks in the camp.

In addition to the athletes, Flamengo also had three coaches on the roster: Francisco Porath Neto, Keli Kitaura, and Ricardo Pereira. The goal is to concentrate the training of athletes and coaches in a location that can meet their high-level preparation needs. This period is part of the technical planning for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
