Flamengo gymnast Priscila Cobello leaves this Saturday (March 24.03) to compete in the Doha World Cup stage in Qatar, which will be held from March 30 to April 1. The athlete was called up by the Brazilian national team and will be one of two gymnasts from the country in the competition alongside Flamengo coach Viviane Cardoso. Priscila will compete on the parallel bars and balance beam.
"I know this performance will be a big help for the coaching staff in determining who can make the team for the London Olympics. I want to show that I have what it takes. I've prepared myself and will give it my all," said the gymnast.
Priscila Cobello will compete against athletes from 16 countries, including Austria, China, France, Great Britain, and Germany. The first day will be a qualifying round, and the last two will be finals.
