The 21th Training of the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation ended last Saturday (6), which was attended by some of the stars of red-black gymnastics. Flávia Saraiva, Jade Barbosa, Lorrane Dos Santos and Rebeca Andrade participated in the activities at the Time Brasil Training Center, in the Barra da Tijuca Olympic Park, in Rio de Janeiro. 

Recovering from surgery on her right knee, performed in October 2017, Rebeca Andrade is already training normally at the club and celebrated her return to the Brazilian National Team. 

“I'm coming back from an injury now, so I'm a little slower than some of the girls, but it's really good to train with everyone, you always learn a little more from a coach, an athlete,” commented the red-black. 

"It was really cool. I really like it when everyone gets together. We get to see the girls who are training and how they are doing, and I also see myself constantly improving. I've been in gymnastics for sixteen years and I know it's really worth it, that it's really important, and I was very satisfied, I was very happy, and I think that's the most important thing. If you're happy with what you do, that's the best thing," concluded Rebeca. 

Coach Ângelo Sabino also participated in the activities at the invitation of the CBG. The previous week, Flávia, Jade, Lorrane, Rebeca, and Luisa Kirchmayer, along with coach Renata Valente, were part of the High Performance Sports Course (CEAR) – Sporting Excellence: Sporting Excellence Program for High Performance Coaches in Women's Artistic Gymnastics. The CEAR was organized by the Brazilian Olympic Committee, through the Brazilian Olympic Institute, and focused on the study of "theory and practice of women's artistic gymnastics apparatus." The event featured lectures by internationally renowned professionals, such as Olympic champion Valeri Liukin.
