Flamengo's and Brazil's artistic gymnastics revelation, Rebeca Andrade, brought home four more gold medals. In Guarulhos, São Paulo, the young athlete was crowned champion of the Brazilian Youth Artistic Gymnastics Championships, held last weekend at the Paschoal Thom multi-sport gymnasium.

Rebeca was the individual champion with 56.750 points, more than four points ahead of Youth Olympic runner-up Flávia Saraiva, who finished second with 52.600. Having missed the Youth Olympics due to an injury, Rebeca returned with a bang and won three more gold medals in the vault, parallel bars, and floor events, with scores of 15.650, 14.300, and 14.600, respectively.

Flamengo took its pre-child and youth teams to the competition, which included clubs from Santa Catarina, São Paulo, the Federal District, Pernambuco, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul and Minas Gerais.
