The red-and-black gymnasts Rebeca Andrade and Flávia Saraiva were called up by the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation (CBG) for a training internship with Team Brazil, at the Artistic Gymnastics Training Center, in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
Alongside their teammates from the national team, the girls will participate in activities leading up to the World Challenge Cups in Koper, Slovenia, from May 10 to 15, and in Osijek, Croatia, from May 17 to 22.
The training period began this Thursday (27) and will continue until May 2.
The Flamengo Regatas Club's artistic gymnastics teams receive funding from their sponsors—AmBev, Rede D'or, IRB Brasil RE, CSN, Brasil Plural, and EY—via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sports (IR), as well as support from the Brazilian Club Committee (CBC) through the decentralization of resources from the Pelé Law. The Flamengo Guardian Angel Project, a personal tax transfer, benefits all Olympic sports of the Most Beloved Club.
