Flamengo gymnast Rebeca Andrade confirmed her favoritism in international gymnastics by finishing the World Cup in second place on the vault with 14.700 points, this Saturday (02.05). Flamengo's Letícia Costa also had a good performance at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, in São Paulo, finishing fourth on the same apparatus. 

"Rebeca and Letícia were very confident and performed their jumps with considerable amplitude. This result reflects the difficulty of the jumps they performed, which in Rebeca's case was greater. Letícia has more difficult jumps and is training to compete for a medal at the Pan American Games in Toronto, if all goes well," says the club's Land Sports Manager, Luisa Parente, who follows the gymnasts closely in São Paulo.

In the second final of the day, Rebeca made small mistakes on the parallel bars and finished in seventh place overall.
