The renovation of the Cláudio Coutinho gymnasium, used by artistic gymnastics, is well underway. The project is expected to be completed in the second half of the year, with the athletes' training pit and some equipment still to be added. The use of the club's space will mark the return of top athletes, who are aiming for the Olympics.

"Our expectation now is to fully resume activities at the Sempre Flamengo Sports School. We hope to see the return of all those students who were unable to continue with us. We want them to return and new students to join. With the structure we are reestablishing and the organization we intend to achieve, Flamengo's gymnastics program will once again be one of the most important in Brazil. We will demonstrate that Flamengo is the breeding ground for Brazilian gymnastics," said Luisa Parente, the club's land sports manager.

There will be a grand opening event for members, symbolically opening the gym, which is expected to take place in mid-May. Once the gym is complete, the club will have one of the best artistic gymnastics development and training centers in Brazil.
