The three representatives of CRFlamengo in the Brazilian Youth Artistic Gymnastics Championship achieved excellent results in the competition, held in Blumenau (Santa Catarina), between August 22nd and 24th.

Approximately 314 gymnasts from ten Brazilian states competed in the Brazilian Junior Championships and the XVII National Artistic Gymnastics Tournament. Flamengo, which finished in second place with 2 points, was represented in the women's competition by Letícia da Costa, Gabriela Soares, and Danielle Robles.

The competition served to determine the possible team that will represent Brazil in the South American Championship in Lima, Peru, later this year. And the red-and-blacks are in the sights of the Brazilian coaching staff.

On Sunday, the best gymnasts on each apparatus were chosen. Letícia da Costa secured a spot on the top step of the podium in the Individual All-Around (12 and 13 years old), with 52.167 points. The red-and-black gymnast also placed first on the beam with a score of 1 and third on the vault with a score of 12.90.

In the Individual All-Around (14 and 15 years old), Gabriela Soares and Danielle Robles placed 5th and 8th, with 51.267 and 49.700, respectively. Danielle placed 3rd in the Floor event, with 13.55 points. The only apparatus in which the red-blacks did not win medals was the Uneven Parallel Bars.
