Next Friday (01.10), the Brazilian artistic gymnastics team will head to Madrid, Spain, where they will carry out their final preparations for the World Championships in Rotterdam, Holland, between the 17th and 24th of October.

Flamengo will be represented by its elite women's gymnasts. In the men's competition, Diego Hypolito and Victor Rosa are confirmed absentees. Both are recovering from foot and shoulder injuries, respectively.

The group is made up of 14 gymnasts (male and female). Daniele Hypolito will be responsible for leading the red-and-black team, which also includes Jade Barbosa and Gabriela Soares.

During the training camp in Madrid, the athletes will be observed and evaluated by the CBG technical committee. Rubro-Negro's Viviane Cardoso and Renato Araújo are part of the group that will determine the six gymnasts who will compete at the World Championships.

"It's very important for the team to be training together toward the same goal. This brings the group even closer together. Furthermore, it's a time for final adjustments, as at this stage, we don't have much more to add. It's time to get the series ready for the World Cup," said Daniele Hypolito.
